Terms of engagement
The terms for using this website, and where they stop and an engagement letter begins.
Last updated 10 August 2026
What these terms cover
These terms govern the use of this website. They are not the terms on which the firm is engaged. Where the firm does work for a client, that work is governed by a separate engagement letter, and the engagement letter prevails over anything on this website.
Nothing here is advice
The material on this website describes services in general terms. It is not financial, accounting, tax, investment or legal advice, and it takes no account of any particular business's circumstances. Do not act on it without engaging the firm or another qualified adviser.
Enquiries create no obligation
Sending an enquiry through this website does not create a professional relationship and does not oblige the firm to accept the work. A relationship begins only when an engagement letter is signed by both sides.
Fees, scope and how work is agreed
Scope, fees, timing and deliverables are agreed in writing for each engagement before work begins. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer capable of acceptance.
Confidentiality
Information a client shares with the firm is treated as confidential and is used only for the engagement, except where disclosure is required by law or by a professional obligation. The detail is set out in the engagement letter.
Ownership of this website
The text, design, diagrams and marks on this website belong to FortuneFinance Consulting Limited. You may read and print pages for your own use. Republishing or reusing them commercially requires written permission.
Third-party platforms
Accounting and workflow platforms are referred to by name so that you know what the firm works with. Those names belong to their owners, and referring to them implies no partnership, endorsement or certification unless stated in writing elsewhere.
Links away from this site
Where this website links elsewhere, the firm is not responsible for that content.
Availability
The firm aims to keep this website available and accurate but does not guarantee either, and may change or withdraw any part of it.
